Brookfield Residential, the fifth-largest homebuilder in North America, looked to Studio to continue the success of the “Your Life Happens Here” campaign, where we focused on how our lives most important events happen inside the home. During our discovery phase, we learned about a realtor who had toured several Brookfield model homes and found them beautiful but lacking “a certain something.” On one of her last visits, she noticed children’s hand-drawn artwork on the refrigerator. She found what she felt was missing: a personal touch that turned a model home into something that felt authentic and real. An idea was born: why not ask home buyers what “home” means to them and have them draw about it? The “Drawn Home” campaign captured honest and heartfelt answers to this question, which we socialized across digital, print, social, and web.
